Meet Susan Gallagher, Director, Celebration
Institute
Susan Gallagher is a registered nurse (RN) and certified wound ostomy continence nurse (CWOCN.) She holds a Masters’ of Science degree in Nursing, with a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in WOCN. Also, from University of Southern California she holds a MA in Religion and Social Ethics, and a PhD in Public Policy Ethics as it pertains to obesity.
In the past 8 years, she has published over 75 articles in peer-reviewed
journals related to obesity, outcomes, ethics and culture. Dr.
Gallagher has published several book chapters, lectured internationally
and appeared in numerous videos and radio programs. See her recently
published book titled, “The
Challenges of Caring for the Obese Patient.” |
